All orders must be submitted via my website (just click on the order tab at the top of the page) Once you complete your order form it will be emailed to me for review. I will then reach out to you via email to further discuss your order.
The earlier the better! About a months notice is best in order to secure the date you really want and to allow time to converse about making the perfect cake for YOU. A minimum of 2 weeks is required for orders. A rush fee of $25-$50 will be charged depending on order size if an order is placed and accepted under that time.
Unfortunately I no longer accept orders via DM and cannot give out quotes via DM. In order to keep things as organized as possible I do require you to fill out the order form on my website which will give me all the necessary information I’ll need regarding your order.
I am only accepting Zelle or Venmo at this time.
I am a home baker and currently do not have a storefront! However, I am located in Manhasset (Long Island) My address will be sent to you upon confirmation of your order in the invoice sent to your email.
Baking cakes and cookies keeps me super busy, and I ALONE do ALL THE THINGS at the moment, so my response times will reflect that. Please note that it could potentially take anywhere from 3-5 days for a response, which is why placing your order well in advance is important. Thank you for understanding!
I do occasionally offer delivery for an upcharge depending on distance (I do not deliver anything over a 15 mile radius). However, please keep in mind that I am an independent worker and am not always available for delivery. Open to discuss if and when needed.
Unfortunately, at this time I am not offering any vegan, dairy or egg free options.
I can make certain cakes gluten free upon request for an extra fee of $20.
Most bakes made in my kitchen handle these allergens – dairy, eggs, gluten (wheat), nuts, sesame, soy.
Please note that I cannot cater to those with serious or life-threatening allergies at this time as all items could potentially contain traces of these allergens.
While I have an intricate process in place to minimize cross contamination, my kitchen is a very small space and cross contamination of ingredients is possible. SAD BUT SAFE.
Cakes cannot be shipped. Cookies can be shipped.
Shipments can only be delivered to a street address within the United States. Sweet Batch is NOT responsible for delays in delivery times.
Shipments that are returned or require rerouting due to incorrect addresses will be subject to additional charges for reshipment and/or relabeling for the USPS. We kindly ask that you review your address for accuracy before confirming your order with me.
Shipping charges will not be refunded for late deliveries in the event the business is closed or if the recipient is not available to receive the package when delivered.
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the contents of the package are stored in an airtight container, refrigerator, or freezer promptly after delivery (see cookie care card in package when receiving cookies)
Estimated delivery timelines do not take unexpected weather or carrier delays into consideration, which may affect shipping and arrival dates.
Sweet Batch is not responsible for delays due to weather conditions or other causes beyond our control.
Sweet Batch is not responsible for any delayed, lost, or damaged packages during shipping. Any issues with delayed, lost,or damaged packages should be taken up with the USPS.
If you are driving it is best to make sure your car is cool and set at a low temperature (bundle up when it’s cold outside because I recommend keeping the heat OFF!!), and always make sure to place your cake on a flat surface such as the base of the trunk, the floor of the backseat behind the passenger (great to wedge the front seat against it for minimal movement, or my personal preference, the floor of the passenger’s seat. If you have company with you (recommended for bigger cake orders such as 2 tier cakes) they can hold the cake on their lap (lifting to avoid bumps). Please ensure that you are driving slowly and carefully to avoid any sudden breaking or sharp turns. When you collect your cake make sure to always hold it from the bottom, being careful to not squeeze the sides of the box and to never place anything on top.
If not consuming right away, pop that baby in the fridge in the packaging you received it in. Pull your cake out for a minimum of 3-4 hours prior to enjoying for optimal taste and texture, but please be sure that you are keeping your cake out of extreme temperatures and out of direct sunlight. Please be mindful that cakes with buttercream will start to melt if left out in the sun or extreme heat, and that cakes with fillings are less stable and might start to bulge and/or become unsightly if left out in heat for too long.
If uncut, your cake will last for up to one week (in the fridge). Once your cake is cut, it is best to press parchment paper against the open/cut sides of the cake and refrigerate in an airtight container for maximum freshness and minimal moisture loss.
You also have the option to freeze your cake (in an airtight container) for up to a month.
I use Italian Meringue Buttercream to frost and decorate all of my cakes. It is silky smooth, non-grainy, non-crusting and it is much less sweet than other frostings.
I require an absolute minimum of a one week notice for cancelation. Please note that the 50% deposit is nonrefundable, the additional payment will be refunded if already sent. If canceling past the 7-day requirement the full payment will not be refunded.
If you are rescheduling, your payment will be saved as a “store credit” for your future order.
Short and Sweet, nope.
I am a one-woman team! This means all shopping, baking, building, decorating, cleaning, interactions through emails/calls etc. and deliveries are all done by ME and me alone!
All cakes are made fresh and uniquely for you upon ordering, so for that reason I will need plenty of notice.

Yes ,this is a question I get asked..by a lot of silly goofy gooses. My cakes and cookies are not free.
Occasionally I do giveaways which I always post on my instagram, so make sure you follow me on Instagram to keep up with the latest bakes and updates @sweetbatch_bysanj
In addition I have implimented a 10% discount with every 5th order that you place with me!
Unfortunately, I am not selling single cookies at the moment. My cookies can be ordered in batches of 6 same flavor for $30 or mixed flavors for $40!
I source the majority of my ingredients locally, I have done extensive research and a ton of trial and error with recipes and ingredients. I buy local and organic as often as possible, which makes my goods pricier, but better! I work tirelessly to make the best goodies possible and each bake is uniquely made just for YOU! <3
